 Это средство во многом сходно с сolchicum по своей тропности к суставам и пищеварительному тракту. Однако боли сolocynthis не столь интенсивные. Тем не менее боли в кишечнике заставляют пациентов сгибаться пополам, что иногда приносит облегчение. Боли сolocynthis обычно облегчаются при надавливании, поэтому иногда кошки или собаки с симптомами этого средства ложатся животом на подушку или похожие предметы. Характерно внезапное появление спастических болей в животе, часто после вспышки гнева или других сильных эмоций. Симптомы данного средства ухудшаются на холоде и улучшаются в тепле.
 АРТРИТ. По моему мнению, данное средство весьма эффективно у собак при болях в области тазобедренного сустава. Ключевым симптомом для назначения сolocynthis является боль при ротации задней конечности внутрь.
 ФИМОЗ И ПАРАФИМОЗ. У животных сolocynthis состояние фимоза или парафимоза может возникнуть вследствие эпизода сильной злобы или раздражения; для этих животных вообще типична выраженная раздражительность. Боли спастического характера могут быть настолько сильными, что собаки постоянно крутятся, извиваются и сгибаются пополам, чтобы хоть немного облегчить боли.
