Interactions Citramon P with Pentalginum-N
-
Dangerous interactions
- Simultaneous use with other antipyretic analgesics, NSAIDs can lead to a mutual increase in toxic effects, with chlorpromazine or other phenothiazine derivatives - to the development of severe hyperthermia.
- Respiratory analeptics (R07A_B) + Narcotic analgesics => Convulsive syndrome may occur.
- Opioid narcotic analgesics (N02A) + Respiratory stimulants (R07AB, N06BC) => With the combined use of opioid analgesics (in high doses) and respiratory analeptics, seizures may develop.
- Inducers of microsomal liver enzymes or potentially hepatotoxic substances (for example, alcohol, rifampicin, isoniazid, hypnotics and antiepileptic drugs, including phenobarbital, phenytoin and carbamazepine) increase the toxicity of paracetamol, can lead to liver damage even with non-toxic doses of paracetamol, therefore liver function should be monitored.
- Prolonged co-use of paracetamol and other NSAIDs increases the risk of analgesic nephropathy and renal failure.
-
Negative interactions
- Increases the toxicity of methotrexate, reducing its renal clearance, the effects of narcotic analgesics (codeine), oral antidiabetic drugs, heparin, indirect anticoagulants, thrombolytics and inhibitors of platelet aggregation, reduces the effect of uricosuric drugs (benzbromarone, sulfinpyrazone), hypotensive agents, diuretics (spironolactone, furosemide).
- With simultaneous use, sodium metamizole can reduce the effect of acetylsalicylic acid on platelet aggregation, therefore, this combination should be used with caution in patients receiving acetylsalicylic acid in low doses for cardioprotection.
- The simultaneous use of sodium metamizole with other non-narcotic analgesics may lead to a mutual increase in toxic effects.
- Therefore, this combination should be used with caution in the treatment of patients taking low doses of acetylsalicylic acid for cardioprotection (prevention of thrombosis).
- Metamizole sodium and Acetylsalicylic acid belong to the same pharmaceutical group: Non-narcotic analgesics, including nonsteroidal and other anti-inflammatory drugs.
- Acetylsalicylic acid and Naproxen belong to the same pharmaceutical group: Non-narcotic analgesics, including nonsteroidal and other anti-inflammatory drugs.
- The clinical significance of this interaction is unknown, however, as with other NSAIDs, the simultaneous use of naproxen and acetylsalicylic acid is usually not recommended due to the potential increase in side effects.
- Salicylates (N02BA) + Phenobarbital => Weakening of anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic and other types of pharmacological action of salicylates.
- Drugs: Citramon P and Pentalginum-N there is common active substance : Caffeine. Pay attention to the dosage..
- Increases the effect of indirect anticoagulants (coumarin derivatives) and the likelihood of liver damage with hepatotoxic drugs.
- Metamizole sodium and Paracetamol belong to the same pharmaceutical group: Non-narcotic analgesics, including nonsteroidal and other anti-inflammatory drugs.
- Paracetamol and Naproxen belong to the same pharmaceutical group: Non-narcotic analgesics, including nonsteroidal and other anti-inflammatory drugs.
-
No interactions
- When used together, sodium metamizole can reduce the effect of acetylsalicylic acid on platelet aggregation.
- Hypnotics; Sedatives (N05C) + Respiratory stimulants (R07AB, N06BC) => Respiratory analeptics are used for poisoning with hypnotics and sedatives..
-
Positive interactions
- Antiepileptic drugs + Butadione, salicylates => Increased action of diphenine.
- The effect is enhanced by barbiturates, codeine, caffeine, H2-antihistamines, propranolol (slows down inactivation).
