Coffea cruda

 Editor’s note: сoffea cruda is a homeopathic medicine, which is most commonly used for Insomnia or Sleeplessness. It is also a useful remedy to toothache.
 Coffea is a genus of flowering plants in the family Rubiaceae. сoffea species are shrubs or small trees native to tropical and southern Africa and tropical Asia. The seeds of some species, called coffee beans, are used to make various coffee beverages and products.
 Coffee, is large enough doses, containing caffeine can cause insomnia, nervousness and restlessness, stomach upset, nausea and vomiting, increased heart and breathing rate, and other side effects.
 Consuming large amounts of coffee might also cause headache, anxiety, agitation, ringing in the ears, and irregular heartbeats.
 In homeopathic potentised dosage, сoffea cruda is safe to take and has no reported side effects.

 There is no difference between symptoms of roasted coffee and raw coffee. It is believed that coffee antidotes almost all homoeopathic medicines; but it is doubtful whether it could do so esp. when remedies are given in high potency (Clarke).

 Coffea cruda has Toothache during menses. Severe afterpains or labour pains; with fear of death. Nymphomania.

 Short, dry hacking constant cough; of measles; in nervous delicate children.

 Nervous palpitation, with trembling of limbs worse sun heat; after excessive joy or surprise. Sudden rise of blood pressure.
