Description

 Хирургическое лечение является наиболее эффективным способом устранения катаракты. Он заключается в удалении затуманенной линзы из глаза и имплантации искусственной интраокулярной линзы (ИОЛ). Различные методы операций, применяемые при хирургическом лечении катаракты, отличаются методом извлечения натуральной хрусталика. Это может быть полное удаление линзы с капсулой или удаление только передней капсулы и ядра линзы, удаление частиц линзы после ее механического дробления или ультразвукового воздействия, которое превращает линзу в эмульсию. В зависимости от показаний для замены линзы используются разные типы ИОЛ: асферические, торические, мультифокальные.
