 Mind and Disposition.
 Anxiety about the future.
 Despair of recovery, thinks to be very ill, and in great danger not to survive the sickness ; hopelessness.
 Great anxiety, full of fears.
 Religious melancholy.
 [5] Impatience ; ill humor.

 Head.
 Vertigo with headache ; it presses the eyes out.
 Congestions of blood to the head, with red-hot cheeks and nose, redness of the eruption on the face, with great anxiety every afternoon after dinner (during pregnancy fifth month).
 Fulness in the vertex as if the brain would burst out, with formication in the head ; before the headache flickering before the eyes ; the objects dance before the eyes, or black spots and rings appear before the eyes ; afterwards very heavy sleep.
 Congestion of blood to the head with heat, wakened him in the night, was stupefied, could not recollect what happened, and after sitting for a while had to rise to collect his senses.

 Herpes extending from the (left) temple extends over the whole ear down to the cheek, at times throwing off innumerable scales, and again showing painful rhagades with humid yellow discharges, forming scurfs ; fetid, humid, intolerable itching, especially in the evening till midnight.
 Nose.
 Loss of smell.
 Soreness of the nose ; sensitiveness of the mucous membrane when inhaling air.
 Face.
 Pimples on the forehead.
 [30] Red small pimples on the face, especially on the nose and chin, and in the middle of the cheeks.
 Burning heat and redness of the face.
 Ulcers in the face.
 Humid eruptions on the face. The whole face is covered with humid scurfs or crusts, with swelling of the lips and eyelids, with humid soreness behind the ears.
 Lips dry, brown, black.
 [35] Ulcers on the lips.
 Mouth and Throat.
 Sensation of soreness of the teeth.
 Stinging in the teeth (while eating).
 Looseness of the teeth.
 Ulcers on the gums (right side).
 [40] Tough mucus in the mouth and throat with much hawking.
 Burning in the throat ; sensation as if it were scalded.
 Sensation of a lump (plug) in the throat which impedes the hawking up of mucus.
 Dryness in the throat with thirstlessness.
 Loss of taste, with coryza.
 [45] Tongue dry ; dry on the tip, feels as if scalded, coated white, yellow.
 Taste bitter.

 Stomach and Abdomen.
 Eructations, smelling like rotten eggs.
 Nausea in the morning, with pain in the small of the back.
 Nausea all day, with vomiting of sweetish mucus.
 [50] Deep-seated, heavy pain in the region of the liver, worse when pressing on it and when lying on the right side, when walking, coughing, laughing, and taking a long breath.
 Stitches in the region of the spleen.
 Emission of fetid flatulence.
 Inguinal hernia.
 Stool and Anus.
 The soft stool is discharged with great difficulty.
 [55] сonstipation ; with pain in the small of the back ; charge of blood from the rectum.
 Frequent liquid stools (with tinea capitis).
 Stools of mucus mixed with blood.
 Discharge of large quantities of blood from the rectum, with hard, difficult stool.
 Burning, haemorrhoidal tumors.

 Urinary Organs.
 [60] Urinary secretion profuse.
 Involuntary micturition, cannot hold the urine.
 Urine thick, whitish, turbid, depositing a red sediment and forming a cuticle swimming on it.
 Sexual Organs.
 Men. Impotence.
 Excessive, uncontrollable sexual instinct.
 [65] Hydrocele.
 Discharge of painless mucus from the urethra. Gonorrhoea secundaria).
 Drawing pains in the testicles and spermatic cords.
 Sycotic excrescences on the edges of the prepuce, itching and burning.

 Respiratory Organs.
 Shortness of breath.
 [70] The thorax expands itself with great difficulty when breathing.
 Anxious dyspnoea, with palpitation of the heart.
 The dyspnoea is worse when sitting up to write, better lying down.
 Asthmatic attacks with hydrothorax.
 Cough from tickling in the larynx.
 [75] сough, with stitches in the chest, or with sensation of weakness in the chest.
 Dry cough, with soreness of the sternum.
 Burning pressing pain in the chest.
 Suppuration of the lungs. Phthisis pulmonalis).
 Pain in the chest, as if raw, as from subcutaneous ulceration.
 [80] сutting as from knives in the chest.
 Stitches in the chest (left side).
 Palpitation of the heart, with anxiety.
 Pain (stitches) in the heart, worse when lying down.

 Back and Neck.
 Painful stiffness of the neck.
 [85] Pain in the small of the back, worse on motion.
 Extremities.
 Upper. Attacks of lameness and soreness in the right shoulder, extending to the hand.
 Lower. Pain in the hip-joints as if dislocated, worse when walking, with weakness of the arms.
 The feet go to sleep often.
 Pain in the legs, especially on the tibia and in the soles of the feet, as from over-exertion in walking, with great restlessness in the legs, better on rising.
 [90] Heat and itching in the soles of the feet.
 Ulcers on the lower legs, with intolerable itching over the whole body.
 Arthritis.

 Generalities.
 Very weak from the least exertion.
 Great debility from loss of fluids or after severe acute diseases (Typhus).
 [95] Rheumatism and arthritis.
 Dropsical diseases.

 Sleep.
 Sleepiness in day-time.
 Sleeplessness at night, from dyspnoea, from intolerable itching.
 Wakens from congestions to the head.

 Fever.
 [100] сhilliness in the evening on the upper arms and thighs, with thirst ; drinking causes cough.
 Heat in the afternoon or evening, feels as if he should lose his senses, with thirst.
 Heat, with perspiration on the face ; heat when riding in a carriage.
 Heat at night, and dryness in the mouth.
 Want of perspiration, dry skin.
 [105] Profuse, colliquative perspiration.
 Perspiration profuse when taking the slightest exercise ; at night.
 Perspiration after typhus fever.
 Perspiration in the palms of the hands.

 Skin.
 Itching and stinging in the skin in many parts at the same time.
 [110] Intolerable itching from getting warm ; in the evening in bed, scratches himself till he bleeds.
 Urticaria, with eruptions on the head.
 Itching pustules on the forehead, chin, chest.
 Dry itch on the arms and chest, but most severe on the finger-joints.
 Itch on the elbow and wrist.
 [115] Herpes, with biting-itching, with meal-dust, humid.
 Old ulcers, with fetid pus.
 Violently itching ulcers.
 Suppressed itch, eruptions.
 Rash on the neck and back.

 Conditions.
 [120] Psor. is an indispensable remedy if debility remains after violent acute diseases ; if profuse perspirations remain after typhus fever ; in the evil consequences of suppressed itch, especially after large doses of sulphur ; if the patient is hopeless, despairing of his recovery.
 Many ailments are worse or come on when riding in a carriage, and when exercising in the open air, and relieved by rest and in the room.
 Aggravations in the evening and before midnight.
 Sitting aggravates the dyspnoea (asthma) and pain in the heart ; these and other ailments are relieved while lying clown.
