 Stitching pains in hard palate. Roughness in throat. Spasmodic constriction and narrowing of throat. Dry tongue early in morning. Indistinct speech.
 Appetite: Frequent ravenous hunger, especially early in morning. сontinued intense thirst with complete loss of appetite. Nightly thirst, for cold drinks. Persistent dislike for meat and aversion to tobacco. Insatiable thirst for cold drinks at night but it disagrees with him and the more he yields to it the more violent it becomes.
 Taste: Sour, in mouth, as well as to food.

Short paroxysms of few, but frequently repeated coughing fits, excited by a feeling of feather down in throat and trachea, in morning and during day with much mucus or pus like, yellow or grayish, sometimes bloody expectoration mostly sour and stinking. Expectoration, as if from suppuration of lungs. Sequence of whooping cough, worse drinking water.

 Nervous debility with weariness and want of strength. Great emaciation with a large abdomen and good appetite. Tendency to take cold and sensitive to cold, moist air. Very plethoric. Sticky, exhausting, more on occiput and neck, while legs remain cold.
