Description

 Ретикуляция роговицы применяется при лечении кератоконуса (за исключением его конечной стадии), болезненной кератопатии и кератомы различной этиологии. Процедура включает удаление поверхностного эпителия роговицы и нанесение рибофлавина на роговицу, а затем облучение ультрафиолетовыми лучами определенного спектра. В результате этого воздействия стимулируется образование новых пересекающихся волокон роговицы. Недавно сформированные волокна коллагена формируют укрепляющий каркас роговицы и предотвращают его деформацию. Стабилизация роговицы отмечается в период от 4 до 6 месяцев после сшивания.
