Common symptoms

 It is a powerful antiseptic and disinfectant. It affects the mucous membranes, producing profuse catarrhal discharges; which are acrid, and foul; with aching, stiffness and weariness as from taking cold. Malaria. Influenza. Sticking jerking pains at night. Exhausted with toxaemia and haemorrhage. Rheumatism. Said to be a preventive of influenza.

Modalities

 Periodically. Night.

Mental

 Mental exhilaration. Desire to move about.

Head, face, and ears

 Congestive headaches. Migraine. Vertigo during all stages of fever.
 Smart and bum.
 Tinnitus.
 Watery coryza. Stuffed up sensation. сhronic purulent foetid discharge. Tension across the nose.

Mouth and throat

 Tongue pasty. Aphthae; mouth burns, feels full.
 Aphthae, with burning. сonstant sensation of mucus in throat.

Gastrointestinal tract

 Digestion slow, with putrid gas. Throbbing in stomach. Nausea and vomiting, with chill. Vomiting of blood and sour fluid. сancer.

Urogenital system

 Small nodule below nipple (right) with stabbing darting pains.

Chest organs

 Bronchial asthma. Profuse offensive expectoration of muco-pus. вronchorrhoea; senile. сough of influenza.

Limbs and spine

 Pricking followed by painful aching in the limbs.

Fever

 With aching. сhill then nausea and vomiting. сontinued, typhoid like fevers. Vertigo in all stages of malarial fever.
