Common symptoms
In ordinary practice it was used as a powerful emmenagogue; but in homoeopathy it corresponds to many reflex conditions dependent upon disturbed uterine function and pregnancy. Nausea; with flow of saliva and inclination to vomit, in the morning; before breakfast, with sensitive uterine region. Sensitive stomach with much gas. Vomits on motion or raising up. Hyperemesis. Intermittent pain in ovaries, extending towards uterus. Uterine torpor, sterility from. Sensitive womb. Menses; late, scanty, watery. Subinvolution. Fibroids. Tumours in breast with swelling of axillary glands. Pain in neck. Menses tardy with sensation that the flow is about to start yet does not do so.
