Interactions Phenobarbital with Pyridoxine+Thiamine+Cyanocobalamin+[Lidocaine]
-
Dangerous interactions
Thiamine is incompatible with oxidizing and reducing compounds, in pm mercury chloride, iodide, carbonate, acetate, tannic acid, ammonium iron citrate, as well as phenobarbital, riboflavin, benzylpenicillin, dextrose and metabisulfite. -
Negative interactions
Thiamine hydrochloride reduces the pharmacological activity of salts of suxamethonium, phentolamine, propranolol, sympatholytics (reserpine), hypnotics (reduces hypnotic and hypotensive effects). Phenobarbital can alter diagnostic tests with cyanocobalamin, with methirapone, and with phentolamine (false positive test). Antiarrhythmic agents - disopyramide and quinidine - may reduce concentrations that support the antiarrhythmic effect. When prescribing or canceling phenobarbital, control of plasma concentrations of antiarrhythmic drugs is necessary. Anticonvulsants (hydantoin derivatives) accelerate biotransformation in the liver (blood concentration decreases), with intravenous administration, the cardiodepressive effect of lidocaine may increase. It enhances the depressing effect of anesthetics (hexobarbital, thiopental sodium) and hypnotics on the respiratory center. Caution should be exercised with prolonged use of antiepileptic drugs (phenytoin), barbiturates and other inhibitors of microsomal liver enzymes, as this may lead to a decrease in effectiveness and, as a result, an increased need for lidocaine. -
Unclear interactions
Absorption of vitamin B12 may be impaired by the use of proton pump inhibitors (e.g. omeprazole), blockers of H2-histamine receptors (e.g. cimetidine), colchicine, aminoglycosides (e.g. neomycin), aminosalicylic acid, antiepileptic drugs, salts potassium, methyldopa, as well as against the background of alcohol intake.

Decoding the colors of interactions and contraindications
Dangerous | — | a pronounced negative interaction or contraindication. |
Negative | — | negative interaction or side effect that may reduce effectiveness. |
Positive | — | the interaction can SOMETIMES be used as a positive (often a dose adjustment is needed), or it is an indication of the drug. |
No | — | the drugs do NOT interact, which is separately indicated in the instructions. |
Unclear | — | the system failed to pre-assess the danger. |
