Description

 Отоакустическая эмиссия. Метод диагностики основан на способности улитки генерировать акустическое эхо в ответ на слуховые сигналы. Он используется в процессе скрининга новорожденных для раннего выявления потери слуха. Используется для дифференциации поражений кохлеарного и слухового нервов у пациентов всех возрастов. Тонкий зонд вводится во внешний слуховой канал, в который помещаются микрофон и телефон, затем записывается акустический отклик улитки на звуковой стимул. Отоакустическая эмиссия подтверждает наличие потери слуха, но не позволяет определить степень и причину потери слуха, поэтому при обнаружении патологии она дополняется другими исследованиями.
