 Консультация со специалистом по сну (специалист по нарушениям сна и их коррекция) необходима пациентам, страдающим бессонницей, храпом по ночам, апноэ во сне, нарколепсией, сомнамбулизмом При первоначальном принятии сомнолог обнаруживает жалобы, собирает анамнез, проводит исследования, составляет план диагностические агенты. Алгоритм исследования для пациентов с нарушениями сна обычно включает полисомнографию, сердечно-легочный мониторинг, ЭЭГ и пульсоксиметрию. Чтобы исключить органическую патологию, приводятся консультации других специалистов - отоларинголога, кардиолога, эндокринолога и невролога.
