 This remedy should be thought of when the discharges of MUCUS MEMBRANES are persistently acrid, profuse, thick, gluey, yellow like honey, in chronic affections; and thin in acute conditions. Discharges cause вURNING of the part on which they flow. Its symptoms are very similar to the symptoms of early stage of tuberculosis, with afternoon rise of temperature. In chronic inflammatory state of the lungs and bronchial tubes, the expectoration is greenish-yellow, pus-like, with short breadth, there is a profound prostration, emaciation, recurring fever and sweats and tendency to diarrhoea. It is a remedy for senile heart, and myocarditis and fatty degeneration of the heart. Heart weakened by chronic lung affections. Sensations of heaviness occurs in many parts. Axillary tumours.
