Equisetum hyemale

 Scouring Rush. Equisetacea.
 A rush, growing in damp soil in Europe and North America.
 The tincture is prepared from the fresh plant, chopped and pounded to a pulp.
 A popular remedy for dropsy, suppression of urine, gravel, hamaturia, gonorrhoea and gleet.

 Pain and tenderness in region of bladder, with soreness of testicles, extending up spermatic cords.
