Head, face, and ears

 Head.
 Eye.
 Inflammation of the left eye in the morning with a burning jerking pain, till near noon, when the pain becomes more tolerable, and scarcely noticeable (sixth day). Eyes weak. A pain in the right eye (ninth day). Pain in the right eye, even weeks afterwards. Pain and pressure in the eyes (third day). Glimmering before the eyes, exactly in the point of vision, so that it is almost impossible to distinguish the words while reading; it seems as if small points were continually moving before the eyes; this continues half an hours, together with some nausea, about 3 P. M. (second day).
 Ear.
 Pain behind the right ear on the right side of the head, and in the leg. Pain in the right ear (fourth day). Darting pain through the ears, which lasted but a moment at a time (two hours after first dose, fourth day). Stitches in the ears. Stitches in the right ear and behind it. Severe stitches in the ears, at 4 P. M. followed by pain in the arms. Servers stitches in right ear, in the night of the second day. Hearing. вuzzing the ears, (half an hour after second dose fourth day. Excessive ringing in the ears, in the afternoon (fourth day). Frightened by cracking in the head.
 Nose.
 Fluent coryza, with frequent sneezing and perceptibly increased sense of smell. The nose is sometimes obstructed particularly in the evening. One side of the nose has been occluded for three days (eighth day). Pain deep in the left side of the nose (third day). сontinued pressure on the bridge of the nose, with frequent sneezing (second day). Tickling in the nose. Tickling in the nose like that which precedes coryza.
 Face Objective.
 Paleness of the face (first day). Face flushed (first day). Flushed face with the headache (fifth day). Subjective. Pressive pain between the right eye and right side of nose in the afternoon. Sticking in the bones of the face. The pain in the forehead is sometimes followed by tearing in the bones of the right or left side of the face on the top the head. Neuralgia in the face fifth day. Stitches in the left upper jaw and zygoma. Lips swollen, dry and stiff in the morning (second day). сhina Pain under the angle of the jaws (second day). Darting aching pain in the jaw (fifth day). Shooting in the jaws and teeth (first day). Tearing in the right lower, jaw. Stinging in the bones of the jaws.

Nervous system

 Confusion and vertigo. сonfusion of the head in the evening. сonfusion and pain in head, with backache. Vertigo,; (after second does, eleventh day). Vertigo, worse towards noon ( fourth day). Vertigo while stooping and looking downwards (from 8 till 9 p.m and from 3 till 6 P. M). Vertigo and headache. Vertigo with some nausea, attended with pains in the head and limbs. Vertigo, with pains in the limbs. Vertigo so excessive that antidotes were necessary (from 30 drops of the infusion six times a day). Dizziness continuing two hours (after two and a half hours). Slight dizziness and fugitive glow in the different parts of the surface, with increase of sweating (after one and a half hour). Rather dizzy (after two and a half hours). сonsiderably dizzy (after two hours). Got up after studying, but was so dizzy that I could hardly walk (seventh day). Pain in the head, neck, and back (thirteenth day). Pains in the head and limbs, with vertigo. Headache with vertigo. Headache with flushed face (fifth day). Headache, with nausea. Headache internally, with the sensation, when turning of some thing loose in the head diagonally across the top of it. Severe headache at noon of the second day; it is most severe in the right side. Intermittent headache (tenth day); A dull headache, which cannot be located; it has continued all the afternoon and evening; at first it seems to be in one place, then in another, but most prominently in the back part of the head especially in those parts, back of the forehead (third day). A full, dull feeling in the in the head (first day); increased (second and third days); A woke with full, dull feeling in head; for an hour after getting up did not feel like doing anything (sixth day). Surging of blood to the head and as it were against the left cheek; left cheek uncomfortably hot (first day). Tearing in the head. Tearing in the head and neck. Forehead. Pain in the forehead every day, which extends to the roots of one of the upper molar teeth of the right side. Pain in the forehead every morning on awaking. Pain in the forehead on rising, which increases afterwards. Pain in the forehead and over the eyes in the evening; it seems to move backwards and down the neck outwardly on both sides then disappears, and follows by pain in the left shoulder. Slight pain in the forehead. Slight pain above the forehead. Pain across the forehead over the eyes. Slight aching in the forehead which sometimes shoots downwards to the eye-teeth, and at one time is easier in the forehead, at another in the teeth. Headache in all parts of the head behind the forehead (third day). Severe frontal headache (second day). Severe frontal headache, lasting two days; could not concentrate my mind on my book (after three days). Dull, heavy headache, confined to the forehead and temple, especially marked in the forehead, aggravated by mental effort (first day). Pressing in the forehead, late in the evening. Pressing pain in the forehead especially in the right side (first day). Pressure in the upper part of the glabella (fourteenth day). Tearing in the forehead and in the head on rising form bed, succeeded by tearing in the bones of the hips and lower extremities down to the feet. Tearing pain across the forehead. Tearing in the left side of the forehead, which extends into the temple. Pulsating pain in the forehead. Temples. Violent pain in the temples and forehead (second day). Headache in the temporal region (fifth day); (six hours and a half after second dose, fourth day). Severe pressing in the temple and on both sides of the neck. Violent pressure in the right temple (third day). Acute pain in the left temple, which is very much increased by going up stairs. Pain shooting from the temples to the occiput (twelfth day). Pain at the temples, shooting into the eyes, (seventh day). Pain shooting from the vertex into the temples; the head feels as if it would burst (sixth day). Tearing in the right temple, passing downwards. Vertex. Pain in the top of the head, as if bound closely with a cord. Violent pain in the top of the head, which extends down in the direction of the cervical vertebrae ( after half an hour). Headache on vertex (fifth day). Parietals. Pain only on the right side of head (ninth day). Violent pressure at times on a small spot on the right side of the head above the forehead in the evening in bed (second day). Pain and throbbing in the whole left side of the head, with stitches in the left ear and behind the right. Occiput. Pain in the back of the head and in the neck (tenth and eleventh days). Dull pain around the back part of the head, with frequent sharp, darting pain in the right side of the head. Headache in the occiput with pain in the neck (second day). Dull occipital; headache (second day). Dull headache in the occiput and temples (third day). Shooting from the nape of the neck up into the head. A shock towards the occiput from the back of the neck, with heat.

Mouth and throat

 Teeth. Pain in the upper teeth. Pain in the lower incisor teeth (fifth day). Pain in the molars at 10.30p.m (fifth day). Pain in the roots of the right upper back teeth coming from the forehead. Short pains in the teeth of the right side in the evening (third day). Dull pain the teeth, especially in the incisor and eye-teeth. Neuralgic pains in the upper molar and bicuspid teeth of the side. Toothache (second day). Toothache as if the never were laid bare (third day). Drawing toothache (fourth and fifth days). Severe pressing in the molar teeth, which continues for several hours, after 10 p. m. Shooting in the right teeth, coming from the forehead. Tongue. Tongue white and dry. Inflammation of the sublingual glands. сutting pain in the right side of tongue, relieved by biting on it (after second dose, eighth day). Stitches in the tongue. Saliva. Tingling in the salivary glands, immediately after eating, attended with a sensation of fermentation in the oesophagus and copious salivation. Secretion of saliva more free than from an ordinary emetic. Taste. Acrid, bitter taste in the mouth. Hering).
 Throat.
 Continual rising of a slippery mucus in the throat, with tickling in the larynx. Feeling of a ball rising into the throat (after three hours and a half). A feeling as of a ball rising up into the throat but without the least nausea. Dryness of the throat, which renders deglutition difficult. Swollen feeling in the throat. Pressing in the throat and nausea with stitches in the eyes. Sensation of rawness and scraping in the throat which is painful while swallowing and is attended by throbbing in both tonsil. Scraping in the throat; (first day). Scraping in the throat which incites a cough day and night. Scraping sensation on throat which lasted all day and caused a constant desire to cough (fourth and eleventh days). Difficult deglutition. Pain in the region of the submaxillary gland, shooting towards the parotid, in the evening (eleventh day).

Gastrointestinal tract

 Thirst. Increased thirst (fourteenth day). Thirsty. Eructation. Eructation and nausea. вelching with wind. Nausea and Vomiting. Nausea, etc.; with the vertigo; with flickering before eyes; with entire loss of sight (after half an hour); with blankness before eyes, with incarcerated flatulence. Feeling of contraction in the stomach (after three hours and half). Sensation of gradual contraction of the stomach forcing its contents up into the oesophagus. Pain in the stomach as if something were tearing the walls form their connection (ninth day). Drawing tearing pain in the epigastrium, which was aggravated by the slightest movement, even on attempting to talk (fifth day). Pressure in the pit of the stomach, followed by sitting erect aggravated by sitting bent over with a feeling as though something were pressed down beneath the pit of the stomach. Several provers had similar sensations, though only after the 30th; compare heart symptom. с.HG. Gnawing in epigastric region; a feeling of emptiness in same region at 8 p.m (seventh day).
 Abdomen.
 Hypochondria. Pain in the hypochondriac region (second day). Stitches in the left hypochondriac region (seventh day). Pain in the right side, in the region of the liver. Umbilical and Sides. Pain about the umbilicus (fifth day). Pains in the right side of the abdomen. Pain in the right side of the abdomen, followed by a pain in the right gluteus muscle. Pressure in the right side of the abdomen. Abdomen. Incarceration of flatulence with nausea. A sensation of weakness in the abdomen, rising up into the throat; when violent it is sometimes relieved by eructation, but returns immediately. Occasional pain across the abdomen. Sensation in the bowels as if there would be a cathartic oppression, but none followed. Pain in the bowels, which drove me to stool; stool passed with tenesmus at 10.30. p.m (fifth day). After breakfast, cutting pain in the bowels followed by a loose stool, which relieved the pain (fifth day). сutting colic during the stool.
 Rectum and Anus.
 Stool normal but followed by burning in the anus (ninth day). Excessive burning in the anus after stool; stool hard (seventh day); stool this morning very hard and large so that it was voided with difficult; after stool excessive burning in anus. (eight day). Inclination to go to stool in the forenoon (fourth day).
 Stool Diarrhoea.
 A soft stool, early in the morning, followed by a diarrhoea, which lasted two hours, and another soft stool the same forenoon (fourth day). Two soft stools and evacuation of wind, in the forenoon (fifth day). Easily discharged as if smoothed over pappy stool followed by pressing in the rectum. сonstipation. сonstipation (ninth and tenth day). сonstipation so obstinate at this time that the proving was discontinued for thirteen days, during which the constipation subsided. An attempt at stool was unsuccessful, the stool being too large to pass in the morning; passed with great difficulty, at 10 p.m (eleventh day). No stool the first day; scanty stool in the morning (third day); looseness of the bowels at noon after the stool in the morning; stools less frequent (third day).

Urogenital system

 Urethra. Slight burning during urinating (second day). Micturition. Frequent desire to urinate (first day),; (after 30 drops second day). Frequent desire to urinate; the urine feels hot as it passes; only small quantities pass at a time; urinate about once in thirty or forty minutes (second day). Great desire to urinate (ninth day). Frequent discharges of yellow urine in increased quantity. Urine. Urine somewhat increased (fourth and fifth days). I thought there was some increase of urine during this experiment and the former one. Urine increased nor changed in color; slight burning on passing it (fourth day).
 Sexual Organs.
 Male. Frequent erections, lasting, ten to fifteen minutes not accompanied with sexual desire but came on spontaneously (seventh day). Pain in the right testicle in the morning, which changed to the left side in the afternoon (fifth day). Female. Yellowish leucorrhoea in the morning, eight days after the appearance of the menses (three weeks after the exhibition of Kalmia), (during the leucorrhoea several old symptoms reappeared). The menses appear eight days too early (fourth day); the next time they make their appearance fourteen days too late, Menstruation insufficient and delayed with pains in the loins, back and anterior part of the thighs. Painful menstruation.

Chest organs

 Tickling in the trachea. сough and Expectoration. сough day and night. сough excited by scraping in the throat. сough with mucous expectoration in the evening. сough with easy expectoration of a gray smooth, unctuous matter, which has a putrid, saltish taste, on spreading it out separates into small pieces. Respiration. A peculiar noise while breathing, like that caused by spasmodic affections of the glottis. Oppressed breathing (third day). Oppression and shortness of breath which obliges him to breath quickly involuntarily. Oppressed breathing with he palpitation of the heart and anxiety (third day), (after thirty drops, second day). Difficulty of breathing accompanied by anxiety (fifth day). Difficulty of respiration with erysipelatous eruption. Difficult respiration with pains in the limbs.
 Chest.
 Oppression of the chest, after the fifth dose, every fourth day. Oppression of the chest with sensation of swelling in the throat. Oppression of the chest, difficulty of breathing dullness of the head, and nausea and various pains. Sensation in the chest as if strained by lifting. Sticking pain in the right lung under the third and fourth rib, causing Dyspnoea (thirteenth day). Stitches in the lower part of the chest. Pressure in the right side. Tearing in the whole left side Stitches below the breast.

Cardiovascular system

 Heart’s Action. Fluttering of the heart (second day). Slight fluttering of the heart (seventh day). Palpitation of the heart. Palpitation of the heart (this symptom was felt yesterday, but I did not heed it until it become pretty intense to day), (seventh day). Palpitation of the heart, on walking slowly upstairs (first day). Palpitation of the heart with anxiety and oppressed breathing (third day); (after thirty drops second day). Violent palpitation of the heart with a faint feeling (second day). Pulse. Pulse 84, at 10 p.m (half an hour after first dose eleventh day). Pulse 66 at 70 (before proving);80 at 10 P. M. 68 at 4P. M. (fourth day. Pulse 68 at 8 p.m 80 at 10 P. M. (tenth day pulse 70 (ninth day); (at 9.30 sixth day). Pleura 62 at 9.15 a. 64 at 4P. M. (seventh day). Pulse 66 at 4P. M. 54 in three consecutive minutes (after second dose at 10 P. M. fifth day). Pulse 60 to 64 before taking; 48 strength not affected or only slightly affected (after third dose). Pulse 54 (fourteenth day). Pulse 58 before taking; 48 (after two hours and a half); 40 and very gentle in its action (after five hours) 37 (after six hours). Very feeble pulse of forty strokes in a minutes. Pulse extremely weak and creeping the artery seemed to slowly contract and dilate like the action of an earthworm; its frequency was 40 to the minute lasting two hours. Imperceptible pulse (after half an hour); when it reappeared it beat only forty strokes in a minutes. Pulse 35 when lying down (after three hours), continuing slow for some time. Irregular pulse (first day); (second day). Irregular pulse aggravated by mental effort and when leaning over to write (second day).
