 A Mollusc. Muricida.
 A sea snail found on the coasts of the Mediterranean and Adriatic. The coloring matter, from which is obtained a fine red, is contained in a sac situated between the heart and liver.

 A soft violet colored enlargement of neck of uterus.
 A large excoriation on anterior aspect of neck of uterus, was caused to bleed by a slight touch. θ сlimaxis.
