Description

 Посев на наличие гонореи (Neisseria gonorrhoeae) проводится, если есть подозрение на инфекцию, и через одну-две недели после завершения лечения. Обычно проводится исследование поверхностного эпителия уретры или шейки матки. Посев проводится в специфических средах с гонококками. При обнаружении роста определяется способность различных антибиотиков вызывать гибель развитых колоний. Отсутствие роста также может наблюдаться у инфицированных пациентов (в основном женщин). Затем необходимо посеять материал, взятый после провокации: введение гоновакцина, горячая ванна, механическая стимуляция, первые дни после менструации.
