Description

 Пахиметрия. Биометрический метод испытаний, основанный на оптическом или ультразвуковом измерении толщины роговицы. Показаниями к пахиметрии могут быть дистрофическая роговица (кератоконус, кератоглобус, дистрофия Фукса), глаукома, хирургия роговицы и планирование рефракционного вмешательства. Оптическая пахиметрия выполняется без контакта с помощью щелевой лампы; Ультразвуковая пахиметрия - это метод контактной диагностики, выполняемый под местной анестезией с использованием ультразвукового устройства. Последний метод является более точным, поскольку все параметры рассчитываются автоматически и отображаются на экране. Как правило, толщина роговицы в средней части составляет 500-550 мкм.
