 Shepherd’s Purse. сrucifera.
 An annual bearing small white flowers in elongated terminal corymbs, native to Europe but found in most civilized countries. It flowers from early Spring to Autumn.
 The tincture is prepared from the fresh flowering plant.
 Short provings by Macfarlan and McGeorge.

 Slight headache.
 Deafness and pain in left ear.
 Frequent epistaxis, of a passive nature.
 Free discharge of blood and mucus from left nostril.
 Dull pain at root of nose.
 Lips sore.

 Teeth sore on closing jaws.
 Gums sore ; neuralgic feeling in teeth.
 Inside of gums feels as if full of blisters.
 Ranula ; caused enlargement of submaxillary duct.
 Soreness of upper part of throat.
 Swelling of throat and face, most on left side.
 Tonsils swollen.
 Dryness on swallowing.
 Hoarse in morning, with slight sore throat.

 Nausea.
 Crampy pain in stomach ; toes hurt, as well as stomach.
 Sick faint feeling in stomach.
 Pain between end of sternum and umbilicus, like needles or like a shock from a battery.
 Severe cramp pains, better bending over.

 Hamaturia.
 Urine burning, passing frequently, of strong odor.
 Metrorrhagia ; with uterine colic ; in hemorrhagic chlorosis ; in sequela of abortion or accouchement.
 Premature menstruation ; first day she hardly had a show, on second a hemorrhage, with severe colic, vomiting, and expulsion of clots ; flow continued very long, eight, ten, even fifteen days, then left patient in a state of exhaustion, from which she had not time to recover before another period ; one period very profuse, next less so.
 Hemorrhages. With violent uterine colic and cramps ; consequent on abortion ; at critical age ; with cancer of cervix.
 Too frequent and copious menstruation, especially in persons of a relaxed constitution.
 Menses three days too soon, very profuse, uterine colic and discharge of clots.
 Delaying menses caused by inertia of uterus.
 Leucorrhoea ; bloody, dark, fetid, before and some days after catamenia, which was profuse and dark.

 Hemorrhage after abortion.

 Pulsating pain in left chest.
 Hamoptysis.

 Pain in left shoulder so great, he thought neck and shoulder would break.
 Strong, almost painful pulsation in right radial artery ; pulse 84, uneven.
 Pain in finger ; felon, on tenth day.
 Motion : bending over better cramp.
 Morning : hoarseness.

 Violent fever with panting.
 Left : deafness and pain in ear ; blood and mucus from nostril ; swelling of throat and face ; pulsating pain in chest ; as if neck and shoulder would break.
 Right : painful pulsation in radial artery.

 As of needles or a shock from a battery between end of sternum and umbilicus ; as if neck and left shoulder would break with pain.
 Pain : in left ear ; in finger.
 Neuralgic pain : in teeth.
 Crampy pain : in stomach and toes ; in abdomen ; in uterus.
 Bruised feeling : all over.
 Pulsating pain : in left chest.
 Dull pain : at root of nose.
 Faintness : in stomach.
 Profuse passive hemorrhage from all parts of body ; blood dark and clotted.
