Description

 Генодиагностика дистрофии роговицы направлена на определение типа заболевания и поиск его генетических маркеров. Миссенс-мутации гена TGFBI связаны с развитием нескольких типов дистрофии роговицы (гранулярной, решетчатой, Tiela-Benke, Avelino). Мутации сOL8A2 связаны с ранней формой дистрофии Фукса, ген SLC4A11 - с поздней формой заболевания. Дефекты гена сHST6 приводят к развитию гранулярной дистрофии стромы роговицы.
