Description

 Вакцинация против ротавирусной инфекции. Активная иммунизация направлена на профилактику острого гастроэнтерита, вызванного ротавирусом. В России эта вакцина еще не включена в национальный календарь, но педиатры настоятельно рекомендуют ее применение всем детям первого года жизни, поскольку они являются детьми, наиболее подверженными ротавирусной инфекции, сопровождающейся диареей, гипертермией и обезвоживание. Ротавирусная вакцинация проводится пероральными вакцинами RotaTech и Rotarix. Первая предусматривает трехэтапную иммунизацию детей от 6 до 32 недель, вторая - двухэтапное введение в возрасте от 1,5 до 6 месяцев. Обе вакцины безопасно сочетаются с другими вакцинами. Иммунитет против ротавирусной инфекции сохраняется не менее 5 лет.
