 Косметическая флебология. Раздел практической флебологии, который включает процедуры по устранению косметических дефектов, вызванных патологическими изменениями в мелких сосудах. Удаление единичных расширенных капилляров, капиллярных сетей, сосудистых звездочек на лице и теле проводится с использованием современных технологий с низким уровнем воздействия. Специалисты в области косметической флебологии используют лазерную фотокоагуляцию (местное воздействие на сосуды лучами определенной длины), микроскопию (введение склерозеры с помощью ультратонкой иглы) и эхосклеротерапию (индукция склероза под ультразвуковым контролем).
