Description

 Генодиагностика талассемии включает поиск структурных дефектов генов, приводящих к возникновению патологии, с использованием методов ПЦР и секвенирования. Мутации генов белков α-глобина - HBA1 и HBA2 - сопровождаются развитием альфа-талассемии, гена белка HBB - бета-талассемии. Оба заболевания наследуются по аутосомно-рецессивному типу, сопровождаются развитием тяжелой анемии, гемолиза, спленомегалии.
