 УЗИ желудка ребенка первого месяца жизни может быть назначено для исключения пилорического стеноза с обильной регургитацией и рвотой, потерей массы тела; дети старшего возраста - с подозрением на ГЭРБ, гастрит, гастродуоденит, язву желудка и ; Ультразвук позволяет обследовать стенки и контуры всех отделов желудка, оценить его функции, выявить локализацию и степень патологических изменений. УЗИ желудка ребенка проводят натощак после 6-8 часового голодания. В детской гастроэнтерологии ультразвуковое исследование желудка обычно проводится через переднюю брюшную стенку, однако при необходимости эндоскопическое УЗИ может быть предоставлено ребенку.
