Тромбоэмболэктомия в аорто-подвздошном сегменте показана для развития острой артериальной окклюзии и симптомов острой ишемии конечностей. Тромбоэмболэктомия из сегмента бедра аорты может быть выполнена прямо и косвенно. Прямая тромбоэмболия включает выделение и пережатие артерий, косоперчную артериотомию, снятие тромбоэмболии под визуальным контролем. В непрямом методе после артериотомии удаление тромбогенных масс и застой выполняется с использованием катетера Фогарти.
