Description

 Эмболизация артерио-венозных мальформаций. Внутрисосудистые вмешательства для окклюзии сосудистых аномалий головного мозга путем введения специального эмболизационного материала. Операция может быть выполнена как в виде самостоятельного лечения АВМ, так и перед резекцией, чтобы минимизировать риск кровотечения. Во время процедуры пациент находится под наркозом. Через рентгеноконтрастную пункцию бедренной артерии микрокатетер проникает в сосуды головного мозга и доставляется непосредственно в АВМ. По достижении цели выполняется введение адгезивной композиции или микрокатушек, которые заполняют аномальный сосудистый узел и помогают прекратить патологический артерио-венозный шунт. Эффективность процедуры подтверждена повторной ангиографией.
