 Carbolic Acid, is a powerful antiseptic, irritant and anaesthetic. It affects the mucous membranes; heart; blood and respiration. It is a languid, painless, foul and destructive remedy. PROSTRATION is very marked; even paralytic, with loss of sensation and motion. Discharges are foul, burning. Terrible pains coming and going suddenly. Acuteness of smell is a strong guiding symptom.
