Description

 Сферофакия - семейно-наследственная аномалия развития, представляющая собой формирование шаровидной формы хрусталика.

Symptoms

 Хрусталик при этом резко уменьшен, имеет шаровидную форму. При центральном положении шаровидный хрусталик может ущемляться в зрачке, вызывая вторичную глаукому.
 При врожденных дефектах сосудистой оболочки и радужки может развиться колобома линзы. Как правило, она располагается в нижнем сегменте хрусталика.

Reasons

 Синдром имеет наследственную этиологию.

Treatment

 Патогенетического лечения не существуют, проводят симптоматическое лечение.
