Description

 Эмболизация варикозного расширения вен пищевода и желудка показана пациентам с портальной гипертензией, осложненной гастроэзофагеальным кровотечением, при неэффективном эндоскопическом гемостазе. Эндоваскулярное рентгенологическое вмешательство может быть выполнено в экстренных случаях (при продолжающемся кровотечении), отсрочено (сразу после остановки кровотечения) или в качестве плановой процедуры. В большинстве случаев используется чрескожный чреспеченочный доступ. Эффективность метода в достижении стабильного гемостаза составляет около 90%. Стоимость складывается из рентгенологического шага и самой эмболизации с учетом набора инструментов.
