Description

 Операции в плевральной полости направлены на устранение патологических процессов с участием париетальной и висцеральной плевры. При пиопневмотораксе выполняется операция открытого дренирования - торакостомия с последующим закрытием торакостомии на стенке грудной клетки; при хронической эмпиеме плевры - интраплевральная торакопластика. При доброкачественных опухолях плевры опухоль удаляется, чтобы избежать злокачественности и сдавления грудной полости. Одним из методов хирургического лечения туберкулеза легких является длительное введение искусственного пневмоторакса. При рецидивирующем плеврите выполняется плевродез, который приводит к разрушению плевральной полости.
