Description

 Операции на околоносовых пазухах обычно выполняются с выраженным гнойным синуситом, который устойчив к другим методам лечения (антибиотикотерапия, пункция). Целью процедуры является удаление патологического содержимого (гной, измененная ткань) и создание благоприятных условий для постоянного дренирования пазухи путем формирования широкого свища между пораженным пазухой и полостью носа. Кроме того, показаниями для выполнения операции на пазухах являются инородные тела, некоторые травматические повреждения (переломы стенок околоносовых пазух с вывихом, сильное кровотечение) и рак пазухи.
