Description

 Mediastinotomy. Операция терапевтического или диагностического рассечения средостения. Медиастинотомия выполняется с целью дренирования выделений при развитии эмфиземы средостения, вызванной повреждением трахеи, разрывом легкого или буллы; с гнойным медиастинитом, абсцессом средостения; для диагностических показаний. Медиастинотомия выполняется шейным, паравертебральным, парастернальным или трансплевральным доступом. Разгрузочная медиастинотомия направлена на нормализацию средостенного давления и осуществление дренажа средостения. Диагностическая медиастинотомия обычно используется для выявления опухолей и метастатических поражений средостенных лимфатических узлов.
