 Удаление опухолей средостения. Иссечение первичных (доброкачественных и злокачественных) и метастатических новообразований средостения в грудной полости. С ростом опухолей средостения могут развиться компрессионный синдром, кровотечение, злокачественная опухоль, доброкачественные опухоли, поэтому их удаление является обязательным и должно проводиться на ранних стадиях. Радикальная элиминация доброкачественных опухолей средостения сопровождается благоприятными послеоперационными результатами и может быть достигнута открытым или торакоскопическим методом. Злокачественные опухоли средостения требуют обширных вмешательств или паллиативной абстиненции с целью декомпрессии органов средостения.
