Characteristics of the substance

 Растворимый аналог человеческого инсулина пролонгированного действия (обусловлено выраженной самоассоциацией молекул инсулина детемир в месте инъекции и связыванием молекул препарата с альбумином посредством соединения с боковой жирно-кислотной цепью) с плоским профилем действия (значительно менее вариабелен по сравнению с инсулин-изофаном и инсулином гларгином). Получают методом биотехнологии рекомбинантной ДНК с использованием штамма Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
