 Краткое описание этого препарата опубликовано доктором skinner в «h. w. (xvii. 89). нозод изготавливается из кровянисто-сывороточных выделений экземы волосистой части головы. Случаи, излеченные доктором theobald с помощью melitagrinum, изготовленным skinner, опубликованы в «h. w. (xvii. 19). melitagrinum назначаемый с редкими интервалами, излечивал очень тяжелые случаи. В одном из случаев отмечалось начальное ухудшение.
