Description

 ЭКМО или экстракорпоральная мембранная оксигенация проводится в случае тяжелой острой легочной, сердечной или сердечно-легочной недостаточности, которая связана с высоким риском смерти и не может быть купирована другими методами интенсивной терапии. Процедура предполагает длительное кровообращение и насыщение крови кислородом вне тела пациента. В зависимости от используемого сосудистого доступа различают вено-артериальную, вено-венозную и вено-артериовенозную ЭКМО.
