 Логически рассуждая, препарат мочевой кислоты можно использовать при подагрических проявлениях. burnett назначает uricum acidum в 5-м и 6-м разведениях. Препарат наиболее эффективен в случае подагрических отложений. Он размегчает и помогает растворять их. uricum acidum с эффектом применяется при подагрической экземе, когда она «является проявлением конституции на коже». При этом назначается uricum acidum 3х. mersch («h. w.», ххх. 395) назначил uricum acidum пациенту с липомой, локализовавшейся на левом боку в области ложных ребер, «размером с человеческую голову, только вытянутой формы». Облегчение наступило сразу после приема препарата, а полностью липома разрешилась за месяц.
