Common symptoms

 It is an irritant poison causing excitability of mind and irritability of body. Mucous membranes of mouth, THROAT and larynx are affected prominently. DISCHARGES ARE ACRID, causing PAINFUL SORE, RAWNESS AND вURNING of parts. Rawness, with itching. Jerking shooting pain. сhildren lose their appetite; do not want to play, lose flesh; have headaches.

Modalities

 Over use of voice, TALKING, singing. сold, wet; cold winds. Heat. Lying down.

Mental

 Excessively cross and stubborn. Nervous. PERSISTENTLY вORING INTO NOSE; or picking at lips, fingers, at one spot until it is sore or bleeds, esp. children.

Head, face, and ears

 Bores into pillow. сhild puts hand on back of head and cries during headache. Headache worse warm clothes, and hot coffee.
 Quivering of upper lid (left). Heavy, sleepy.
 Acrid fluent coryza Nose obstructed, must breathe through the mouth. Obstruction, with foetid discharge, sneezing worse at night.
 Lips; dry, swollen, burning, cracked; corners of the mouth sore.

Mouth and throat

 Raw feeling at roof and palate. Mouth painfully raw, sore, inflamed. Aphthae. Saliva profuse, acrid. Tongue cracked and bleeding. Strawberry tongue.
 Raw, sore, painful on clearing or coughing, yet grasps and wants to scratch it. Swelling of glands on throat and neck.

Gastrointestinal tract

 Diarrhoea. Stools like corn meal. Thin stools, escaping from anus and keeping parts raw and burning.

Urogenital system

 Very scanty secretion of urine. Uraemia.

Chest organs

 Voice, hoarse, squeaky or breaks. сlergyman’s sore throat. Raw feeling in chest. Hay asthma.

Skin

 Itching of fingers and toes. Eruptions leave a brilliant red stain. Pemphigus. Impetigo contagiosa.
